Hi, up for sale here we have an early eighties Japanese built Bianchi Limited 12 speed road bicycle. Serial number is AS476054. This is a one owner bike that has been very well maintained and it shows. All mechanicals were in excellent condition when I got the bike. The frame and forks are constructed of Ishiwata 022 chromolly steel and this bike is very responsive and light. My buddy took this bike on a sixteen mile test ride shortly after I finished the complete overhaul and he said the bike was very responsive and handled like a Ferrari. Everything is original to the bike with the exception of the cables, tires, freewheel, rear rim and rear derailleur. I wanted to turn this bike into an indexed shifting bike and the only thing it now needs is the shifters to make that a reality. Mechanically, this bike has just undergone a complete overhaul and is ready for a new rider. Feel free to contact me on what has been done, as it is quite extensive. All bearing systems have been inspected/cleaned and new waterproof grease was used in the reassembly. Cosmetically, this bike is in very nice condition for a thirty year old bike. The decals are starting to lift on the seat tube, as a lot of them did, but the paint is quite nice and still shines like new. Dimensions are: Seat tube - 20.5"ctc, Top tube - 21"ctc, Standover height is 31" and Weight is 21lbs. Components are: Shimano 600 tri-color rear derailleur, Suntour Cyclone front derailleur, Takagi Aero cranks with KKT Pro Vic ll pedals, Dia Compe 500 brake calipers with Gran Compe levers, Custom Road Champion bars, Araya anodized 700c front rim with a Suzu hub, Matix? 700c rear rim with a Suzu hub, Laprade flute seat post and an original Kashimax seat in good condition. Rims are straight and the Bontrager Race Lite tires are in great condition. All cables are new. I have some new tan cork handlebar tape I will put on the bike to replace the original tape that is on there now. Please look carefully at the photos and ask questions, as there are no returns. This bike is SOLD AS-IS with no warranty stated or implied. Shipping will be about $80.00 to the West coast and $60.00 to the East coast or you can email me for an exact amount. As always, this bike will be professionally packed using foam tubing for the frame and fork and lots of bubble wrap for parts removed for shipping. Partial light is required when you receive your bike. If you have any questions or would like close up photos of anything in particular, please email me and I will be glad to help. Thanks for looking and good luck!
